2 hundi business accused held with laptop, passports



The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested two accused of hundi business during separate actions besides re-covering foreign & local currency, laptop, passports and other documents here on Saturday.
The FIA over reports of illegal hundi business raided an office in Kahna area of the provincial capital Lahore during which an accused of hundi business and identified as Abdul Rasheed was ar-rested with local as foreign currency and laptop.
The FIA team during a raid in Multan Cantt arrested Amaar Saleem, an accused involved in hundi and hawala business and recovered millions of rupees cash, foreign currency, laptops, passports, mobile phones and other documents. The recovered valuables were confiscated and the nabbed culprits was being interrogated.
Meanwhile in Chiniot the Counter Terrorist De-partment (CTD) arrested a terrorist of banned outfit besides recovering arms and explosives. Spokesman of CTD said that on an intelligence tip-off regarding presence of extremist, operation was conducted in suburbs of Chiniot city.
During operation a terrorist of banned outfit identi-fied as Masood Khan was apprehended with arms and explosives. The nabbed terrorist was shifted to an undisclosed location for investigation.—INP
