Zardari leaves for UAE on Monday

Observer Report

Islamabad—President Asif Ali Zardari will pay a two day state visit to the United Arab Emirates from Monday.
The visit is aimed at a comprehensive upgradation of Pakistan’s relations with the UAE with a focus on establishing a strategic and economic partnership between the two countries, said Foreign Office Spokesman Muhammad Sadiq in his weekly briefing here on Thursday.
The spokesman said President Zardari will hold official talks as well as one on one meeting with the President of the UAE.
He said other engagements of President Zardari will include meetings with the Prime minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and important dignitaries. President Zardari will also meet with the Chief Executives of major Abu Dhabi based companies. It will be the first official visit of President Zardari to UAE.
