No talks with PPP on table: Nawaz Sharif

Islamabad—Leader of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz), Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said that contact
with Pakistan Peoples Party is not on table and the way the Judge being restored is not acceptable to his party.
Nawaz Sharif rejected all the news reports concerning PML-N contacting PPP for reviving
coalition, saying talks with PPP is no more on the agenda of PML-N.
While talking in a programme of a private television channel, Nawaz Sharif showed his utter
disappointment over the restoration of deposed judges, saying favourite judges were being restored and this
was against the spirit of Murree Declaration.
However, there are reports that the contacts between Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Muslim League (N)
have been revived, sources said.
PML-N has demanded postponement of the presidential election and restoration of the judges as
prerequisite for resumption of talks with the PPP.
According to special correspondent of One World, the second-tier leaders of the two parties
discussed to create broad consensus over the presidential candidate in talks that were continued till late last
night.
The PML-N forwarded proposal for postponement of the presidential election for a few days to
restore the Nov. 2 judiciary as prerequisite for further talks with the PPP.
