MESPAK to link scientific, engineering societies

Lahore—A meeting of senior professional engineers of Pakistan was held at Lahore Gymkhana in order to in-augurate the launching of Micro Engineering Society of Pakistan (MESPAK). This Society has been established with the support of Japan Macro Engineering Society (JAMES). The mission of NESPAK is to forge linkages between various Scientific and Engineering Societies in order to accelerate the development of Science, Technology, Education and Research.
The Aims and Objectives of MESPAK are, Interdisciplinary, environment, friendly, socially consenting scientific and innovative approaches to planning, engineering research and technological development. Promotion and evaluation of engineering disciplines and projects which have large potential contribution to national, regional, and global economy, politics, culture, health, safety, and environment. Promotion and execution of mutually agreed Macro Engineering Projects for research and development which need close collaboration between M ESPAK and JAMES. Plan and Organize Seminar and Conference on subjects related to science, technology, engineering, education, and research. Publication of Journal of Macro Engineering Society of Pakistan, on the monthly basis which will highlight national problems relating to science, technology, education and research.
