Islamabad—Federal Minister for Law Farooq H.
Naek Monday announced that the constitutional
package has been finalized which, he said, may
be tabled in the Parliament before the federal
budget. He said a number of reforms have been
proposed in the package. Reconstitution of
Election Commission, modus operandi for
re-instatement and removal of judges, and
redefining of president’s powers are the major
changes to be introduced through 18th amendment
of the Constitution.

Gilani on Monday said there was no pressure on
the coalition government for the reinstatement
of deposed judges and as soon as the modalities
were worked out they would be restored.
