PM, Zardari discuss matters of national interest

Islamabad—The Co-Chairman of PPPP, Asif Ali Zardari met the PM, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani here Thursday.
During the three-hour talks, both leaders discussed overall political situation in the country, energy and other crisis in detail, and also decided to make utmost efforts to convince Mian Nawaz Sharif to rejoin the coalition.
Sources revealed that both have also discussed issues like summoning a session of National Assembly to debate the issue of restoration of Judiciary.
Sources said that Asif Ali Zardari stressed that the incumbents should put their best to fulfill the promises made to masses, and consensus should also be developed with alliance partners like PML (N) and ANP. PM, Yousuf Raza Gilani briefed the Co-Chairman about steps being taken for the welfare of masses.—Online
