Tariq, Rafiq in final of Men’s Singles

Islamabad—Tariq Aziz and Rafiq Sarhadi Thursday moved into the men’s singles final of CDA Margalla Festival Table Tennis Tournament.
Ladies singles final will be played Friday between Rabia Pervaiz and Neelam Sultana here at Iqbal hall. Federal Secretary for Sports Ashraf Ali Khan will be the chief guest at the finals.
In men’s singles semi finals, Tariq Aziz faced stiff resistance before defeating Mubasher Khan 4-3 while Rafiq Sarhadi downed Muhammad Farooq 4-2 to qualify for the final.
Boys under 15 final will also be played on Friday between Ali Abbasi and Muneeb Ahmed.
Grand finals will start at 4 p.m. Friday at Iqbal hall. Ashraf Ali Khan will distribute the shields and certificates among the winners.—APP
