Islamabad—Leaders of the ruling Democratic
Alliance meeting here on Tuesday renewed their
pledge that the judges would be restored in line
with the Murree Declaration . The Declaration
had laid down the deadline of 30 days for
restoration of the deposed judges. The meeting
was held at Zardari House attended by Pakistan
People’s Party Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari,
Pakistan Muslim League (N) Quaid Mian Nawaz
Sharif and leader of Awami National Party
Asfandyar Wali Khan.
Doha—I appeal to Arab countries to take the
initiative for bringing lasting peace in the
region by establishing open contacts with
Israel. These contacts would help improve the
Palestinian image in the Arab world and make
possible the establishment of two sovereign
states: Israel and Palestine.

adopted a unanimous resolution strongly
condemning the printing and reprinting of
sacrilegious and blasphemous caricatures of the
Holy Prophet (PBUH).
