Karachi—MQM has decided to boycott the Sindh
Assembly session for indefinite period.
According to MQM sources, the decision in this
regard was taken by the party’s Rabita
Committee.

It said that boycott decision was taken in view of misbehaviour with
MQM women at the gate of Sindh Assembly building and misbehaviour
with former chief minister Dr. Arbab Ghulam Rahim. MQM Leader and
former federal minister Babar Ghauri told the media that MQM will
announce its line of action soon.
Islamabad—Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi
hinted on Monday to lift restrictions on the
country’s nuclear hero Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan who
has been under detention since January 2004.
Khan was put under house arrest after he was produced on the
state-run television to say that he exported nuclear technology
outside Pakistan.
